‘A Place of Beauty and Welcome’

Fr JJ Mech celebrates mass at the Cathedral of the Most Blessed Sacrament during the Journey to the Upper Room Pentecost pilgrimage in May 2021. Standing behind him are hand-carved statues of the Twelve Apostles and two angels, part of the future Journey with the Saints pilgrimage.

As the Journey with the Saints team moves into the next phase of creating a space for pilgrims to experience the relics of the Twelve Apostles and others in person at the historic Cathedral of the Most Blessed Sacrament in downtown Detroit, we were thrilled to see the project featured by Unleash the Gospel in October.

You can read the article and learn more about the project, including interviews with Fr JJ Mech and Marian Bart, by clicking here.

If you’re interested in supporting the pilgrimage, please consider making a donation at the Pilgrimage Donations page.
